The Fallsafe pump station concept was developed by WWS in response to serious safety concerns around the maintenance and inspections of below ground sewage pumping stations. One of the main concerns was the risk for the operator working near an open manhole. The Fallsafe concept utilises an elevated inspection cover which removes the hazard of an open hole at ground level. The Fallsafe system is designed to eliminate the requirement for confined space works and items such as valves and level control equipment, are easily accessible from bench height. The piping, valves and electrical panel are built to meet client specifications.
