Sewage Treatment

Marandoo Mine

Project: Marandoo Mine Waste Water Treatment Plant.

Location: Karajini, Western Australia.

Treatment Capacity: 32m3/day.

Date Commissioned: April 2011.

Operational Status: Currently operating.

Comments: This plant was Factory Acceptance Tested prior to shipment to site.

Site construction time was 14 days from mobilisation to commissioning.

This plant was designed specifically to address the proportionally high influent nitrogen and sporadic loading associated with “non-accommodation” waste water applications.

The plant was commissioned with influent sewage and seeded from the Marandoo Village Plant 1.  The process was producing compliant final effluent within 10 days.
